5 out of 5 stars I dont do reviews but...   August 31, 2010
Ronald Smith (Utah)
This camera is exceptional. I waited until it was about half price and jumped on it here at Amazon and got it for around $125 with free shipping.
I have never been fond of acrylic (plastic) lenses as they simply cannot replace glass. Additionally the size of the lens (speed) is minimal. The 12 megapixel is meaningless as you can jam as many sensors as you wish in the smallest area and call it a "mega mega pixel" camera.

But

This thing is easy to use and the quality of image is every bit the quality of Nikon or Canon in the same class and the price is less than half... sigh. I remember when Kodak was the number one name in photography and everyone else was trying to elbow their way into the market and had to offer twice the quality at half the price. Now Kodak is in the back seat and struggling to regain brand name.
With this camera they have.

Its a battery eater though... keep lots of spares.

5 out of 5 stars easy for elders   August 29, 2010

I bought this camera for my mother who is 90. She loves it because it is easy to use. I have one exactly like it in blue and I love mine too. Pictures are clear. Big screen. Easy to hold. Reasonable price.

4 out of 5 stars C182   August 28, 2010

Camera works great. I am disappointed the date stamp can not be set to record automatically. The information from Kodak said it has a date stamp but does not say you have to date each picture.

2 out of 5 stars do not recommend   August 24, 2010

Our previous Kodak camera kicked the bucket, and my husband went out and found this one. It is okay for the price, but I've gone through 2 sets of batteries in 1 weekend...and that isn't even with constant use. It is so frustrating not to have a charger and to have to replace batteries so often. I'm actually not sure we are going to keep this camera. We really enjoyed the other Kodak camera we had. This one just isn't up to par.

5 out of 5 stars Great value and outstanding camera   July 27, 2010

I am amazed that this was sold for only $69 and free shipping by Amazon. I was upset at first as it did not work and Kodak jumped right in and had me send it to them and returned quickly and in perfect condition. My hat is off to them for the great service they provided. The camera does more then I expected and so far the pictures have been a snap to download and work with. My previous camera was only 3.2 MP and this is 12 and just can't say enough about it. Good on line menu and features are appreciated. All I had to do was buy a cheap memory card for $15 and it will take about 1600 photos at 12 MP setting. Should have just bought a 2 instead of a 4 card.

Average person will really enjoy owning and using thie camera.
I am also surprised at the length of life for the 4 Sanyo Eneloop rechargable batteries I bought on line for a low price.
