Great little camera! August 29, 2010 peg leg buyer (NC) I looked all over for a camera that is thin and easy to use and this one fit the bill! By far, Amazon had the lowest price so that was what won me over finally.
Easy to understand, easy to use, and easy to store. Great camera for beginners as well as professionals!
Don't waste your money August 29, 2010 Amber C 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received this camera for my birthday. While on vacation a week later, the camera would shut down as soon as I turned it on. Thinking it was a bad battery, I bought a replacement battery but it didn't fix the problem. I traded the camera in at Walmart for the same model and I have had it for about a year. Now I'm having the exact same problem with this camera! It will not stay on. I won't be buying a Kodak camera again.
One MAJOR flaw August 27, 2010 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I LOVE this camera, the best compact I've had. It takes great, clear, colorful pictures quickly to capture thoses "moments" as some would call them. It is also really compacts which makes it all the more surprising that it takes wonderful pictures.
But, I wish I had not gotton this camera. My sister and friend both have had this camera, and they both had problems with the lens, which made them have to get rid of it comepletely, within 8 months. My sisters would pop out for a second then close again when she pressed the power button. She always had it in a case and was really good to it. I wish I had gotten the Nikon S3000, even though it is more expensive, it will last a lot longer.
Mine is still running, but I've only had it for 3 months. It's only a matter of time before mine breaks, too.
Good Camera When Headed off to School August 13, 2010 HereWeGoCollege I recently purchased this camera from amazon and found that it does everything I need it to. Being a college student, that means I literaly just need it to take pictures and short videos and have a viable connection to the computer so I can share my files. This camera isn't ultra fancy or rediculously high tech. In a way you get what you pay for, but I have been pleasantly suprised as to how well my camera works and fits into my lifestyle :)
Kodak Easy Share August 1, 2010 Maegan (Fort Drum, NY - USA) This is my second Kodak easyshare. I broke the first through my own negligence, and had it about 2 years before that without a hitch. I am not a tech-geek. At one time I could reprogram my hard drive, use different OSs on multiple computers...but it seems like as soon as I had kids I lost all ability to use my opposable thumbs for anything but changing diapers. That sounds awful, but it's true. Anywho...I have had the camera for a few days, and haven't experienced a single problem (yes, I know it's early). I bought a case for it at Target, since it didn't come with one...Not a big deal, and it's generic sized enough that most of the cases I looked at would fit.
I like how easy it is to use, and load things onto my computer. My husband is deployed & this is the only way he can share in what we do. The camera works very similarly to my older model, and while at Target I discovered I could buy an extra battery for it, which seems helpful if I ever need it. I like when acessories for products are easy to come by!
